Bareilly Junction is the most important railway station in Bareilly City . It comes under two railway divisions:- 

(a) :- Moradabad Railway Division of the Northern Railway Zone 

(b) :- Izzatnagar Railway Division of North- Eastern Railway Zone 

It consists of 6 Platforms in which Platform No. 1 to 4 come under the NR zone and Platform No. 5 & 6 come under the NER zone. There is also two station code for each zone - BE for Northern Railway Zone and BRY for North - Eastern Railway Zone. It is categorized as an A-1 Category Railway Station. The railway lines passing through this railway station are:-

(a) :- Bareilly - Lucknow Double Electric Railway Line 
(b) :- Bareilly - Moradabad - New Delhi / Amritsar / Jammu Tawi Double Electric Railway Line 
(c) :- Bareilly - Izzatnagar - Kathgodam Railway Line
(d) :- Bareilly - Aligarh Railway Line
(e) :- Bareilly - Kasganj - Mathura / Kanpur Railway Line 
(f) :- Bareilly - Pilibhit / Tanakpur Railway Line 

It is well connected with many important cities like Lucknow, New Delhi, Amritsar, Kathgodam, Tanakpur, Mathura, Jammu Tawi, Aligarh, etc. It was opened in the year 1964 and was electrified in the year 2014. Here, 14 trains are originated and 14 trains are terminated and 160 trains have their halt.

9. Agra Cantonment Railway Station:-



Agra Cantonment Railway Station is one of the most important railway stations in Agra City. It comes under the Agra Railway Division in the North Central Railway Zone. It consists of 6 Platforms. The Station Code for the Railway Station is AGC. It is categorized as an A-1 Category Railway Station. The railway lines passing through this railway station are:-

(a) :- Agra - Delhi Chord Line
(b) :- Agra - Bhopal Section 
(c) :- Delhi - Chennai Railway Line
(d) :- Agra - Jaipur Section 

It was opened in the year 1904 and was electrified in the year 1982-85. It is among the top 100 booking Stations in the Indian Railway. Around 1,34,26,890 Passengers arrive at Agra Cantt Railway Station per year on an average. Here, 16 trains are originated and 16 trains are terminated and 169 trains have their halt.
